Financial Crisis?

The following is one person’s perspective…

As I continue to read the headlines throughout our nation pertaining to the dire financial situation that has occurred, one word continues to reverberate throughout my mind. HABIT. As defined by dictionary.com: an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary.

We are creatures of HABIT, of which many are formed early in life. Thus, the dire financial situation will not be corrected overnight, but MAYBE over an extended period. WHY? HABIT.

Appalachian Alliance

The following is one person’s perspective for capitalizing on uniqueness…

Where have you traveled recently? Where are you planning to travel in the near future? Why do you choose to travel where you do? Many opportunities are available within our own region, if we only took the time to explore them.

Then again, that brings up another question. Is our region promoted locally? Do we talk about our region with other people? We, as citizens of communities within the Appalachian Region, have an opportunity to capitalize upon our uniqueness.
