Recently I saw a phone booth while visiting a museum and it sparked a few thoughts. First, I must really be old because a phone booth is so outdated that it’s in a museum. Secondly, I wished phone booths were still available so I could push people with bad cell phone etiquette in them and close the door. As a society addicted to convenience, one of our preferred items of use to help rush us through our day is our bank or credit card. It provides quick payment processing times for purchases without all the headache of carrying cash and coin or trying to write a check. I have been a “Swiper” for years, not only for the convenience but to track my spending habits as well. This blog is specifically for Swipers.
I’m looking for some feedback. I get questioned all the time about what kind of business will work in Charleston, WV. Potential clients often know they want to go into business for themselves but have no idea what type of business will survive in the Charleston area. As consumers, what do you think Charleston needs? How’s the night life? Are there enough family friendly activities? Is there a trendy new style of restaurant that you’ve seen elsewhere and think would work here?
